Actually, turning airplane mode turns off bluetooth as well. What
airplane mode does is it turns off all things on the iPhone that
transmit a signal. Since bluetooth sends a signal from the phone
to the braillenote and vice versa, it is effected by airplane
mode.

just turn off wifi and data, I think bluetooth will work on the
plane.

Hi all,
I will be travelling out of the country soon. I will not be
allowed to use cellular data while there because if you use it
while out of the country it's super expensive.
I would like to be able to connect my phone with the
braille-note. Is it possible to do it in airplane mede? It seems
to sometimes fake-connect, where it pretends it is connected but
it reation isn't. Is there any way to pair the braille-note and
the phone without cellular data?
Thanks,
Vejas
