There's a 20 and 20 rule my sighted friend has to do because she gets headaches from looking at the screen too long. Basically you spend 20 minutes working then 20 seconds just closing your eyes and relaxing. As for longer breaks or just getting out of your office, you'll have to tag along with a colleague, use your lunch break effectively etc.
Best

Keep in mind your objective here, it isn't to prove any kind of point, you just wanna give your "eyes" a break just like your colleagues. So, then, there oughtn't be a problem with asking some dude or some chick even to go for a walk. And, it needn't be anything out of the ordinary. Just a walk. You know, really casual and natural? Please keep us posted, Rahul?
