[nabs-l] Taking breaks during work

Hi all,

As an aside, I have to say ditto to what Ashley said about break
rooms. It's always nice to go to the break room to sit away from the
work, or to get a snack or drink from the vending machines we have
there. Often there is someone else doing the same thing there, so it
also makes for a great social venture too. Also, my friends and I
have taken to visiting each other while on our breaks. My co-workers
in the transcription department and I will sometimes go visit the
receptionist to chat with her, and they have visited me at the front
desk when I was manning the phones as well. When I work reception I
also tend to go visit the people who are assembling the braille
magazines and chat with them while they're still working too.
Everyone appreciates the interaction, and it keeps the work day
interesting.
