[nabs-l] Grants and scholarships, NFB Convention, and Performing Arts General Meeting

Hi Ben,
 welcome to the list!
 On funding:  the window for applying for the  National Academic scholarship through the Nfb is closed.  The same is the case for the Kenneth Jernigan first time attendee scholarship.  it is a good idea to try to look for  financial assistance through those avenues sooner rather than  later in future.
 our national scholarship program is typically awarded to thirty students who are planning to study in the US, so if you were not planning on studying  in the US then that might not be the best course of action.
  unfortunately I don’t know much about  possible funding options that you  haven’t already looked into, but there are many many more people on this list who probably do.
 I believe the performing arts  membership meeting’s start time is consistent with the US eastern time zone.
