It also depends on whether or not the adapter for the note taker is able to handle plugs with both 110 V and 220 V currents This comes standard with all laptops, and it means that you would only need a physical adapter. If this is not available, you would have to not only have a physical adapter to fit in the wall, but you would also have to have a voltage adapter.
It is much simpler need ingjust a physical adapter. In Latin America, you can pick these up for very cheap in your corner electronics store. Not sure how it is in Europe.

There are combination adapters that look like a cube with different plugs on the sides that should give you everything you need, or some online research about where you're specifically going should tell you what the adapter you need there is called. There isn't anything special about the Apex charger, so whatever your average traveler from the U.S. uses to adapt their tech will work for you.

The Humanware tech support person told me tha for the Apex, all that was needed was a prong adapter. My mom is kind of anal, so she's making me double check if a Type C prong adapter will work for the braillenote abroad. I don't want to sound like an idiot by calling Humanware back with the same question, so I was wondering if any of y'all have experience with this. Input is appreciated.
