Hi Jessica. Can you get the school to put their reasons for refusing
the Braille Sense in writing, and find out what they want you to use
instead? Was this discussed at your last IEP meeting? If not, you may
want to organize another IEP meeting to talk about your accommodations
for precalculus and argue that a Braille notetaker would be the best
choice. If you are 18 years old you can organize the meeting yourself.
If not, ask your parents to set up a meeting or at least to get a
written statement from your TVI about why you are being denied the
technology.
