Dear Elizabeth:
It is my personal opinion that you ought not to discontinue your contribution to the list. First, I think that it is important that the list remain all-inclusive. This means, an individual ought not to ever feel as if they are incapable of participating in the discussions, which we all have. Secondarily, I believe that you have provided numerous numbers of posts, which have contributed to answering individual questions. As such, you have contributed to the success of individuals, which is priceless, and, something that I think is an independent reason for you to continue your involvement. Finally, and most importantly (as a philosophy major), I think it is crucial that there exists differing opinions. If everyone always agrees with one another, there exists no room for development or innovation. Only through a comparison of antithetical views (lacking dogmatism, of course), can we discover the truth function of our claims, and then transition into a more perfect view. If everyone agrees with one another, then, we will only observe individuals always preforming the same actions, even if there exists a better alternative.
I hope to see more posts from you in the future.
Respectfully,
Michael Ausbun

Subject: [nabs-l] I Just Wanted to Say Sorry

Hello All,

I have been trying to find the right words to offer as an apology to the
NABS email list after causing so much drama on the email list. However, I
still find it rather difficult to find the right words to say. So I guess
the only thing I can say is that I am sorry for my recent conduct on the
NABS email list.

I would try to offer some sort of explanation for my behavior, but I am
afraid if I try to explain things that it will only turn into some kind of
ranting ramble that will probably not make much sense to anyone. And I
honestly do not want to cause any more problems on the email list. I am
honestly not quite sure how much I will continue to contribute to the NABS
email list as I do not wish to create any more problems on the email list.

However, I thought I would at least try to offer an apology to the NABS
email list for whatever it may be worth to anyone. So I am sorry for
creating so much drama on the NABS email list. I hope all of you can find
some way to forgive me.

Elizabeth
