[nabs-l] Question for Anyone Who Gets Their Books Scanned by DSS

I just deduced what the text was saying when the words were too jumbled by
what was around them.
I didn't have time to go back for a second scan.  Not that you shouldn't, I
just didn't.

Hi Vejas,
I work in accessibility services and make some of the accommodated textbooks
for students. I will say, we aren't perfect. We try our best but sometimes
things slide. If the book isn't readable, I'd definitely recommend taking it
back in and asking for it to be cleaned a bit more (again, things slide),
but to proofread every textbook we receive to make sure it's "perfect" is
virtually impossible if a student wants books at a reasonable time!
