> My name is Vee Gaspa, and I am currently one of the four board members on the NABS board. This summer I would be honored to have your vote to be elected as first vice President of NABS.
>  Even though I have only been on the board for one year I have taken every opportunity to immerse myself deeper into the Federation. I went to four state conventions as a NABS representative, attended my Second Washington seminar, and was reelected  for a second term as president of the New Jersey Association of Blind Students.
> This summer I will be working as an intern at the Jernigan Institute, giving me incredible opportunities to continue to hone  my leadership skills and to immerse myself even deeper into the Federation and all of its philosophy. 
>  Over the past year I was working to publish a book, and it was just published a couple of days ago. Even though it took me a year to finish my book I never gave up and it was well worth the wait. No matter how long the project takes I will persevere to make sure it gets done and gets done well.
