Hello All:
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to know multiple ways of
preforming a task. If you have even 30 minutes each day, take some time and
play with narrator or NVDA. As others have said, when one fails, as windows
users, we have lots and lots of alternative methods we can, and should, use
to effectively complete our tasks. This is a luxury we have as windows
users. 
	On a slightly different note, I find that JAWS 18 works beautifully
with windows 10 (something I never thought I would say, before I started
attending the Louisiana Center). I have yet to have any issues, and, when
combined with office 365, I find myself a very happy computer geek.

I was going to comment on that too. You are not clueless without sighted
help. I use narrator to rescue me from jaws "conking out" e.g: crashing.
Sometimes you either do need to use the task manager however or restart
depending on which part of jaws crashed. But if you can alt-tab and reboot
jaws with narrator you should be fine. Also setting up a hotkey like
ctrl+alt+j might be useful.
