[nabs-l] Problems When Selecting Text, Iphone 6

Hi All,
I am having problems selecting text on the iphone 6. I use my braillenote Apex as a keyboard. The command to select text is dots 2356 space. While I am still able to use this command, it takes multiple attempts for the select all to work. I was wondering if there is a way which  I could select text manually, without the keyboard, or if there is a menu I can get into to select text.
