Hi Ian and List,

Our Access Technology team here at the Jernigan Institute recently wrote about this problem in a blog post that you can find here. (https://nfb.org/blog/article/3388)

TL.DR version: Firefox quantum is inaccessible, Freedomscientific is working with Mozilla, you should install Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) for now.

Or you could convert to NVDA, get the Eloquence synthesizer, and you won't have this problem at all.
