As y'all know, the National Association of Blind Students, a proud division
of the National Federation of the Blind, facilitates  valuable programming
that assists blind students to work and live independently.   Our
initiatives include mentorship programs, legislative training, regional
student seminars, and leadership and personal development. With over 50
years of history, and over 1000 members, NABS inspires our future leaders to
live the lives we want!

 

In 2017, our lives are so much different when compared to previous
generations. Technology has transformed the way we interact and collaborate.
Moreover, blind students are continuing to break down the misconceptions
that we are not worthy in the workplace. Guess what? These are NABS, our
students, paving the path for future generations. I know that I'm proud of
the work we are doing; and hope our future leaders will feel similar
sentiments. Without your love and support, we would not be where we are
today, or heading in the direction we are running toward.

 

With this in mind, spread awareness of what we are doing. Start
conversations about the work of NABS. Most importantly, share our mission by
blasting our YouTube video across social media and to your contacts.
