Hi there! There is absolutely nothing wrong with using a scribe for this purpose, it is close to the beginning of the semester and this might be your best bet for now. However, you can also learn a type of markdown language called LaTex  which is what a lot of math and science professionals use. After writing equations in this language, you have to run it through an editor and you can actually generate math expressions and equations that look like the work of a person who wrote them out by hand. I am at work right now, so I cannot write much more, but if I were you I would look online because I know there are resources for blind people wanting to produce math this way. When you search, make sure the L and  the T are capitalized in the word LaTex.
