[NABS-L] Mariya Vasileva for secretary

Hello dear NABS members and other Federationists. My name is Mariya Vasileva, and I have been a part of the Federation since the age of 13. Some of you on this list, if not most of you, no me from various Georgia state conventions and other state conventions in other states including a few national conventions during the years. I am writing to you all because I’m putting myself in the nominating position for secretary for the national board. I feel that I will be a very good candidate for this, because when I was a part of the Georgia Association of Blind Students a few years ago while I was in high school, I was  secretary for one year and I had very good experiences with it. Due to this experience, I have been given the opportunity to take minutes and do other secretarial tasks when needed. I am very excited and ready to give this beautiful organization my all with this position because I feel that we can do more for ourselves as students and members. This can be done and more with a board that has the love, hope, and determination to make anything possible.
