Good Afternoon Everyone

Are you pumped? We are days away from the family reunion we have been
anticipating. The 78th NFB National Convention will bring together a myriad
of affiliates, members, divisions, and families that have a week to update
each other of efforts in their areas, socially connect, and just as
importantly, grow their divisions, chapters, and affiliates through
fundraising efforts. The Virginia Association of Blind Students will not
disappoint, with a fundraising effort that we all can appreciate. Throughout
the week of convention, and the days leading up to it, you can catch a VABS
member in the halls of the Rosen Shingle Creek to buy a very important
raffle ticket. We will be raffling off three $50 uber gift cards. These
three drawings will take place on July 4,6, and 8 at 10pm on each day.

Not attending convention this year? No problem!! Like our affiliate and
organization, the opportunities do not stop if you don't attend the
convention. VABS will accept payment and ticket orders via cash, check, Cash
App, or Venmo. You do not have to be present if your ticket is pulled and
you can still receive your uber gift card either in mail or directly to your
app if you are not in Orlando. If you are present at convention, a VABS
board member or officer will locate you and deliver your gift card in
person.

The price for VABS raffle tickets are $5 for one ticket and $10 for 3
tickets. We look forward to connecting with all of you at convention.

P.S. VABS is now accepting raffle ticket orders for the July 4th drawing.
