[NABS-L] Parents and young adults needed to test employment app at NFB national convention

NRTC Employment Transition App User Testing

Dear Parents and Students,
The National Research and Training Center on Blindness and Low Vision is developing a mobile app to help parents and youth focus on employment. The app will provide information and resources to support families in fostering their children's independence and success from an early age. The app is for use by parents of children who are blind or visually impaired, ages 4 to 24, and by young people who are blind or visually impaired, ages 16 to 24.
The NRTC is seeking parents and young adults to test usability of the app at the National Federation of the Blind's 2018 National Convention. Participants should be computer or smartphone users. Parents should have a child who is blind or visually impaired between the ages of 4 to 24 or close to that age range; students should be between the ages of 16 to 24. Testing times will be scheduled on Wednesday, July 4 through Saturday, July 7.
User testing will take approximately one hour, and participants will receive compensation of $50 in cash for their participation.
