Hi all! I am studying for the GRE with a friend who is blind. Actually, we’re both blind. Anyway, my friend has scanned in a GRE study book and that seems to be working well on everything but the math. Fortunately for me, he’s a lot smarter than I am at math. But we both really need some math braille study materials. I think the GRE people provide these. However, when I called their disability services number I couldn’t seem to get my request across. All they did was tell me how to apply for accommodations when taking the test. My friend and I are both not ready to take the test. We need to get studying the math. They also sent me an email link with information but all that did was send me right back to their phone number. I’m not sure what is going wrong but right now I feel like I am going around in circles and in the meantime the math portion of the GRE still awaits us. Any help on how to solve this would be great!!! My question is, how can I obtain braille study materials for the math portion of the GRE. Also, is there anyway to practice with the Calculator they give you before taking the test? Right now, I am using the calculator on my braille note but I gather that I will not be allowed to have that with me when I take the test.
Thank you to anyone who can provide some help!

Tara
