[NABS-L] New line shortcuts not working with iphone and Braille display

Hi, 
I have encountered a problem with my phone recently. When paired to a Braille display, I have not, for the past few days, been able to go to a new line by hitting "enter" or doing dots 4, 5, 6 enter and space with e. It will just keep me on the same line without advancing me to the next one. This problem is primarily occurring in both Mail and Safari. I know this is an issue with my phone, rather than the Braille display, because I have two of them and it is happening in both.
I have been getting around it for now by turning on the keyboard and hitting "return" but I miss the convenience of the new line shortcuts.
I would love to know if anyone else has had this problem and that it might be a setting I have to look at? (I've already tried turning the phone back on and off again).
