Hey All.
While I have not attended any training centers I have heard a lot about them and great things from them and I know a lot of people that went to them and have achieved great success from them.
When I first read this thread I thought it might be good for you to go back but then when I read more from other responses I kind of changed my tune. I agre with whoever said that you should try to live life and deal with things as they arise. You would have more leverege in a real world setting is my opinion because you could ask for help and you owd  have no limits on what asistance you could get. That is just my opinion of course my view is very limited because I don't know all of your personal situation of what happened at your last training and other factors that go into it but that is just what I have found from reading this thread.
Thanks.
Simon.

It's your fault that you didn't take it seriously the first time, but the state should give you another shot at another place since they should ideally be promoting independence and don't have a structure discovery program themselves. i'm in the process of getting approved to go to CCB, so I'm kind of in the same boat. Also, if you feel you need this training soon, you should hold off of jobs and interships till you have that figured out. Let me know how it goes, good luck!

With an understanding of the training you’ve already had, it should be fairly easy to gain further skills and practice new things just from problem solving with US, other blind folks!

Also i have lost more vision and my braille is not strong. Am I allowed to go to another train center at Colorado or blind inc. I enjoy the city and i like the cold. I have a summer internship with AAPD they are reaching out to Georgia from dc. so I won’t be able to come to national convention. I am graduating with my masters in social work. I am hoping to get a job in August after my internship. I am not sure what to do.
