Greetings all!
This is aarush.
I reside in India, and am currently in highschool.
I am going to give my SAT general examination this year, as am planning to
apply for universities in the US.
However, due to lack of experience there are some things I'm unsure about.
So, first thing's first, I always prefer using my computer to give the
paper instead of a scribe. That has just never worked for me, which is
probably due to the fact that I haven't done it in the past except on very
rare occasions. The problem is that most of the people around here did
indeed use a scribe, which is why I am unable to get guidance from them.
I have explored all the accessible material available on college board's
official site and found it to be very easy to work with but I think it
would just help if i got an account of it from someone who's had a
first-hand experience with giving the paper live, as there could just as
easily be many other different sorts of challenges that I've never heard
of, and I really do not want to take any chances.
I am also not very sure about certain specifics (either they are not super
clear on their sight or i'm overlooking something) and the biggest of them
being answering the questions. I mean we can't really 'circle' the right
option, so what do we do? Do we just write the answers in a separate file,
or can we do it in the file with the questions itself?
I think that mostly sums it all up, just feeling a little nervous as i
don't know how things work from a first-person-perspective. I mean, people
here had many valuable tips but some things were just left hanging because
as i said earlier, nobody I know has taken the test using a computer.
In any case, I would love to know what you guys think!
Regards,
aarush
