[NABS-L] State Convention best Practices

Hi Luke,



Great discussion topic. I'm curious what others think about this.



Personally, I think video on or off should be a personal choice for every attendee. I hesitate to even encourage that people have video on and would never require it in order to participate in a meeting. When we think about our attendees, we want to be as inclusive as we can be and so want people to feel comfortable attending meetings regardless of there presentation on video.



Myself, I prefer to have my video on if I am giving a presentation or speaking in any meaningful way. I recognize that my transmitting video might be useful for those with vision. That being said, I am open to re-evaluating that position. Does my having video on put implicit pressure on others to have their video on?
