Happy Saturday Students,

NABS is so excited to be announcing a limited time opportunity to support
the partnership between the NFB, Getty Images, and Tactile Images. Read on
to find out how you can win a $50 Amazon gift card and be featured in a
national press release. You can also visit this Google form link:

Getty Images, a world leader in visual communications, and the National
Federation of the Blind, America's civil rights and membership organization
of the blind, have partnered with Tactile Images to deliver more than 25
million images to the world's blind population at museums, science centers,
libraries, schools, and government agencies. This initiative will
significantly enhance educational opportunities and cultural inclusion for
blind and low-vision individuals worldwide.

Tactile Images recently sent out a survey to learn more about the people,
places, and historical events that blind people would like to 'see' and
experience via tactile prints. The response has been overwhelming, and we
encourage you to fill it out if you haven't already at this link:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/tactileimages

Here is where you come in! NABS was contacted because the team still wants
to hear directly from blind students in the form of a video. Your
involvement supports the partnership and its mission to use tactile imagery
to increase accessibility for blind and disabled populations worldwide. As
part of the formal press release which will be shared with media outlets
worldwide, Tactile Images would like to include the top video responses that
they receive in their formal press release. Those who are selected will also
receive $50 Amazon gift cards.

Guidelines:

Create a video answering the following questions:

1. What do you want to 'see' first? Why?

2. What will access to photographs and art mean to you?

- Videos can be sent directly to Brad LaMere at blamere at tactileimages.com
<mailto:blamere at tactileimages.com> or sent via a link through the following
Google form:

https://forms.gle/dnTYwP5pf7H4n9Bd9

To make sure Tactile Images has received your video, please send a separate
email to blamere at tactileimages.com <mailto:blamere at tactileimages.com>
following your submission.

- All responses should be received by 11:59 PM EST on Tuesday, January 19,
2021.

Thank you for your participation and feedback!

Best,

Trisha Kulkarni
