[NABS-L] Updated Information for the Michigan Student Fundraisers and Events

Hello my Michigan Family. 
This is Rachel coming to you from the Michigan Association of Blind Students letting all of our members not just the students know about the upcoming events that we have going on this convention weekend.

First off is the Virtual Dance Party which will be tomorrow night Friday November 12, at 7pm eastern time. The doors will open at 6:30pm eastern time and the cost to get into the event is $7 for the next 24 hours and then the price goes up to $10 to enter. All are welcome not just students to come and hang out with their friends and listen to some music.

The next event is Saturday afternoon. This is the annual business meeting of the Michigan Association of Blind Students. During this meeting we will talk about some of the ammendments that we have made changes to this year as well as hold elections. You will also hear about what has been going on with the student division for the past year. The membership form is in the link below as well as the virtual dance party form. The cost of the dues this year is $10 to become a member of the Michigan Student Division. 

Finally all weekend we are holding a 50/50 raffle going on where the winner will be announced Saturday night at the banquet. We will be drawing 2 tickets one will win the money and the other will win an HP stream 11 inch computer with a keyboard. All of the prices and information are listed in the link below as well for that raffle.

I hope that you all will come out this weekend and support the Michigan Association of Blind Students. Your contribution goes to help students all over this great state with sending them to conference and conventions, helps with scholarships for students, and helps send people to the national convention as well.
