So I guess it sounds like the blind students won, but the college is trying
to appeal and say that their actions were not "discriminatory"?

I think it is a very small chance that the case gets to the Supreme Court
because a very small percentage of cases that are given to the Supreme Court
actually get tried.

I think maybe as a blind community we could discuss here if the case should
go to the Supreme Court, but personally, I do not think we have anything to
worry about. I doubt the case will be overturned in favor of the college.

Hi,

	I was recently informed about a petition related to accessibility
and college. Here is some information about it. I am signing and sharing,
and hope that you do as well.

	There is a court case in California that could have a significant
impact on blind students, as well as disabled people in general. Blind
students at the Los Angelas Community College District have sued for
accessible materials, and won both at the district court and appeals court
email. Now the community college district is planning to take the case to
the Suppreme Court. I am summarizing an email that someone else sent me
