Thanks, Justin. I will look at both of these letters. If I don't use your name, do you mind if I share about your struggle with getting the student health services to read your COVID tests that you referenced in the email you sent?

Luke

Hi Luke,

I would recommend starting by looking at the letters written by President Riccobono. If you're going to do any media appearances, I also strongly recommend talking with your affiliate president beforehand so that statewide efforts can be coordinated.

Here is the first letter, which President Riccobono sent to President Biden on January 3:
Letter Regarding the Accessibility of At-Home COVID-19 Tests and Test Requests https://nfb.org/programs-services/advocacy/policy-statements/letter-regarding-accessibility-home-covid-19-tests-and

After no response from President Biden, President Riccobono sent another letter, on January 11, to FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock:
Letter to FDA Commissioner Regarding the Accessibility of At-Home COVID-19 Tests and Test Requests https://nfb.org/programs-services/advocacy/policy-statements/letter-fda-commissioner-regarding-accessibility-home

I hope that these resources are helpful to you.

Aloha,

Justin

I sent a message to the White House asking the President of the United States to address the accessibility issues with the at home tests. So far, I have never gotten a response from him.
