Hi:
You can definitely use JAWS with a laptop that doesn't have a number pad. My
last laptop didn't and I used the row of numbers along the top of the
keyboard. I now have a laptop with a number pad, but still use the row of
numbers along the top, under the function keys.

Subject: [NABS-L] Question About Laptops with Screen Readers
Hello, everyone!
I hope all of you are doing well and are enjoying your summer. I wondered,
for those of you who use JAWS or NVDA; is there a way to use these screen
readers with a laptop that does not have a number pad? I have been told
multiple things; some people say yes, and other people say no. I am just
wanting to get some feedback from people who have used a laptop that does
not have a number pad successfully. Thanks, and I am looking forward to some
responses.
Kind Regards,
Jackson Schwoebel
