[NABS-L] Question about College Roommates with a Guide Dog

From what I remember when visiting friends at NEC a few times years ago, dorm rooms over there are nice enough but not particularly large. Considering your guide dog, I would say that having a single room might be a good idea to ensure both of you have enough privacy and personal space. I love spending time with people and I was very social in college, but I definitely appreciated having a quiet place where I could feed my dog peacefully, or even leave him alone if I wanted to go out by myself knowing that nobody else was going to come in. I’m certainly not saying it’s impossible to live with a roommate and it may even turn out to be a great experience, but at least for Freshman year I would try and get a single room if possible. Just my thoughts!

Best,

IC
