[NABS-L] Streaming Service over Zoom

Hey Asia,

My student division held a few Zoom movie nights before, the only recent concern I’d say to be aware of is that many of these streaming services are placing black screen overlays on the video stream, potentially due to copyright concerns. Although the audio goes through just fine. So long story short, absolutely doable, it may just take a workaround. Google Chrome is usually fine, with Zoom screen sharing set to optimize for video and sharing computer audio and have it transmit stereo as an option, rather than mono.

Hope this helps,
Seyoon,

There is an option for music performers, if you make sure to check that and then just mute the microphone everything should go perfectly fine.
