Whereas in the first part is misspelled.

I don't have any other feedback either way, but it caught my attention.

I don't know when they switched from the 1839 name, but maybe your feedback tells me that I should add something to that Whereas clause to help people understand that the name has evolved since then but has continued to bear his name since 1839.

Since this is the NFB's national student division, and since this resolution is about a school for the blind, I am writing to ask for feedback that anyone might have about the content and/or structure of this resolution. I plan to submit this before the June 4 submission deadline, but I would love to hear any thoughts that our students can offer.

For me, however the national convention votes, I think it will be very instructive for all of us as we come to more fully and completely understand the philosophy of the National Federation of the Blind and what we truly mean when we say that we are committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. These conversations are complex, and they can be messy. They are also very important. At this point in time, I truly don't know how I think the full national convention will vote, but I would like to learn. I want to hear what people think about this.
