[NABS-L] Invitation to attend online MBA webinar and apply

Honestly, it may just be a generic email they send out to anyone who
expresses interest in the program, not a personal invitation to you and you
only. Regardless, this is just one professor expressing their (misplaced)
opinion; you should reach out to the college disabilities office, ask them
questions about their ability to accommodate you, experiences with blind
students, and get a general sense of their willingness to work with you. If
it seems overwhelmingly negative, then you have just dodged a bullet, and
it’s time to consider another school. It’s better you find out now than
after months of pouring into an application and committing to that school.
You certainly want a team willing to listen, work with you, and learn with
you if they don’t have a clue yet.
I would also recommend reaching out to other blind MBA students to
brainstorm ideas of what accommodations they have found successful for
them. Everyone’s vision is different; what may work for them may not
necessarily work for you, but it’s always good to get ideas.
