Hello,
I am interested to hear what you guys think about this. A few months ago, I talked to the Chair of the Human Resources department at a local college and she basically told me that she didn't think the MBA would be a good fit for me because there's too many visual charts, both having to review and draw and that the university does not have the resources to accommodate this and suggested that I look at a college that is betterable to hedle blind students. Today, they sent me an email inviting me to their online MBAINFORMATION session. It came from the chair of the business department and this professor was not copied on it, but I'm a bit appalled by their behavior of discriminating against me and now all of a sudden they want me to apply. Part of me wants ne write to the business department chair expressing my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated by o of their professors, but since I would have this professor in class, it might not get me anywhere. I reached out to a couple other colleges, including where I got my undergrad degree, and they all said they would never deny a blind udent the chance to participate in their program and with proper accommodations, I would learn the same material as everyone else, although aybe bit differently. What are your thoughts not this?
