Hi everyone,

Sharing a great opportunity from the American Association of People with
Disabilities (AAPD) for students interested in gaining professional
experience and connecting with the broader disability community.

AAPD’s 2027 Summer Internship Program is now accepting applications!
Interns are matched with in-person or remote positions with Congressional
offices, federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, and for-profit
organizations. The program is designed to advance career opportunities,
build leadership skills, and connect participants with the broader
disability community.

AAPD is also recruiting for the Bobby Silverstein Fellowship as part of the
summer cohort. This opportunity is specifically geared toward applicants
with a strong interest in disability issues from a legal perspective.
Applicants interested in the fellowship will complete an additional essay
question focused on their goals within the legal profession.

The application deadline is October 1 at 5 PM ET.
