I had wondered how other service dogs are supposed to be identified. This is
new to me. Ed Meskys

Thanks, Wendy. I'm forwarding this to some of the Guide Dog Users Group
people so they can share the info as needed. See the RSA that requires the
blue/yellow leash at
http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/xii/167-d/167-d-mrg.htm,

"167-D:5 Hearing Ear Dog, Guide Dog, or Service Dog Identified. -
    I. Any deaf or hearing impaired person using a hearing ear dog shall
provide the dog with a leash and harness colored international orange.
II. Any blind or visually impaired person using a guide dog shall
provide the dog with a leash and harness designed specifically for this
purpose.
III. Any mobility impaired person using a service dog shall provide the
dog with a leash colored blue and yellow."

In case you are ever asked..

Someone called yesterday looking for information on how to acquire a yellow
and blue leash, colors that the state requires service animals to use.

She let me know that this company will make a leash. The one she is getting
is lightweight because her dog is small and costs only $8.45 including
shipping.

Look at www.strapworks.com. It isn't clear on the website that they will
make a leash but apparently they were very willing to help her out. Leashes
in these colors are apparently hard to find.
