Ah.  Probably the same boots, then.  When I bought them, I was too deep in
sticker shock to remember the product name, but I was glad they were from
RuffWear, since that stuff really lasts.

I use boots from RuffWear, which are spendy but work really well.  I do
worry about aeration in summer, since my black dog soaks in heat, which her
curls refuse to release.  I will probably try wetting them or something this
year, although I'm hunting for other cooling options for her.

I worried at first about her comfort and if the boots would mess up her feet
or if the velcro were too tight -- until I spent an entertaining evening
searching for boots in tall grass.  /smile/  The first time or two she wore
them, she pranced around hysterically while trying to pretend she was doing
no such thing.  Now she walks a little funny, mostly just picking her feet
up higher than usual, but she seems pretty comfortable.  She's good about
having them put on, while making it clear she's only tolerating my silly
whims.  I think she likes them better since a few people have exclaimed over
how cute they are, the little prima donna.  /grin/

What are the barkin' boots like?

What boots do you guys use? I got the barkin' boots through GDB because I've

heard that they work well and alum get a discount.  Do you find that the
left boot twists the slightest bit toward the outside, which is the
direction that the velcro pulls? Did your dogs stand on one front paw and
then stand on the other sometimes when they first wore the boots? I think
that Lexia just is not used to them, but I'm just trying to make sure that
their not hurting her or something.

Definitely. Belle doesn't really like them and it's  not that hard to put
them back on.
