[nagdu] Pet tags on the beach

Julie,
I disagree with the need for any sort of tags, even if out of harness
"enjoying the beach". Whether in harness or not, the dog is still a service
animal under the law and no further restrictions or requirements can be
imposed. As for the Credentials" cited by Cindy Lou and the education by
Mike Hingson, take the time to educate, if you wish, but give them a sound
education by not presenting credentials. Otherwise, they may feel as if they
have the right to require them and they do not! HTH!

Fraternally yours,
Marion
