[nagdu] Grooming

I use a variety of grooming tools depending on which of our dogs I'm
grooming. Yes, I do the grooming in our house. We have a golden and a
Lab/Golden cross. 

I use a Zoom Groom on Swap, the cross. This is his favorite brush. I use the
FURminator on him once a week or so. I also use the Ionizing Pet Brush I got
nearly 12 years ago now at Sharper Image. This brush has a large surface
with soft plastic pin type bristles. 

For the Golden I use a rake, the FURminator 3 times a week, and a detangling
comb, plus the Ionizing brush. 

I also have a ton of other grooming things, brushes, combs, a rubber slicker
brush I really like to use when bathing dogs. 

When I had my Lab/Poodle, I had a lot of different things I used on her but
her favorite by far was the Ionizing brush and a comb with rotating teeth
very close together. Pin brushes also worked nicely on her wiry hair/fur
combo. 

GDF issues a regular metal slicker brush but we also have for students to
try, a FURminator and I think a Zoom Groom. We did issue Golden handlers the
detangler combs but I don't know if we still have those. 

I personally hate the metal slicker brush.
