[nagdu] Dog Breeds

You're right about people not knowing about breeds. People think Landon is
a Rhodesian Ridgeback. He is similar in color. He also has a ridge of hair
on his snout that grows backwards - I call him my "Rhodesian RidgeNOSE"
(grin!)! He really is a Golden/Lab mix. He also matches my hair (grin!).

I've heard that Golden Retrievers were on a "banned breeds" list in the
Midwest. I think people like to do with dogs what they do with people - you
know, racial profiling! It goes to show that you can't lump all of a group
together and judge all on the actions of an individual be they humans or
animals.

Take care,

Linda and Landon
