Hi Sean,

I used to have one of these. It's a cloth webbing with two rows of rubber sewn into it. It was a good leash. Eventually, some of the rubber came out of mine, but apparently the original manufacturer had a lifetime guarantee. I'm now into shorter, 
narrower leashes. But the Gripper is a good leash.
