[nagdu] Dog Boots

Nicole,

I have found the boots useful in ice and snow and in the heat. do not use
them every day. Belle initially sort of marched in them which was fun to
watch, but she got used to them. Once you learn how to put them on, i.e. get
the Velcro straps around securely enough so that they can't step out of them
it really works well.

I remember going to Phoenix in July when it was very hot. My dog tip-toed
across the streets on her toe nails. I felt really bad for her. Obviously we
avoided heat and hot streets but I was only visiting for a week. This was
before they gave us boots in training.

What are people's experiences with dog boots? Do you think that they are
necessary? Have you had success with them? Are they worth it for every day
use?

Nicole
