[nagdu] interesting experience with Frontier Airlines

Hi Tracy,

Interesting. I do it the other way around: I tell airlines but not taxis. I
have never had an airline issue and don't want to take the chance of missing
a flight (did this once, and it wasn't because of Yani; note: try to avoid
Richmond airport whenever possible). But taxis...if I tell them, I will wait
an hour for a cab at least. If I don't, I get one faster. Many times I can
convince them to take me even if they don't want to. Sometimes this
backfires, but I usually get the taxi.

Angie

Liz, I'm curious why you wanted to tell them you will be accompanied by
your dog at all. I usually don't mention it. It just gives them a chance
to start acting silly, as they did with you.
I tend to agree with Marion on the non-mentioning point. I'll say it to
the taxi dispatcher, so the idiot driver hopefully knows to look for me,
since I can't look for him. But airlines don't need to know.
