[nagdu] My new dog

Yes, Lexia is a black lab in every way possible. She has that bouncy lab
personality. Does anyone else's dog do the front feet hop where the hind
legs stay on the ground, but the front feet goo up and down together?

Nicole,

I have forgotten, is Lexia a lab? Belle is and today she turned 8 years old.
I say that she is 8 going on 3. I love that exuberance or puppy spirit. My
first lab lived to be 15 years old and still had the heart to run and play
even if his body couldn't quite do it. I hope that I retain the attitude of
enthusiasm and joie de vivre as long as a live.

A word about puppy hood: They do settle in a little, but some of it seems to
never go away. Lexia is 3 years, 9 months, but has not grown out of some of
her puppy habits, at least not yet anyways.

Ted,
Congratulations on your new dog! Once the puppyhood is over, he will
settle in nicely!
I can give you a word about turnstyles. The biggest challenge with them
is getting the leash through without getting it hung up! Otherwide, the dog
can walk through the mechanism by going underneath it while heeling. HTH!
Keep us up-to-date on Cruise's progress!

Fraternally yours,
Marion
