Hi Jenine,
No, I didn't pay the fine.  I went to the police station armed with the copy 
of the county ordinance and the citation. the police officer at the desk saw 
these and said, "That's stupid!". she called the officer who cited me and 
told him that I had a copy of the ordinance and the citation was voided.

I met my City Council member and his aide who I had spoken to about the 
citation.  He told me that when he told poeple about me being busted for 
violation of the pooper scooper law nobody believed him that the police 
would do that to a blind person.  We had a good laugh over that!
