Hi;
I do believe that because churches are private and don't receive any federal 
funds, they don't have to adhere to ADA laws. Perhaps you should bring this 
to the attention of your parish and ash them to make an exception. Perhaps 
if it's done in relation to your religious adherences and scripture, you 
could influence a few good souls to help or to raise money to help at those 
times when paying for a cab would assist you to worship just as they do. It 
is, after all, about equality.

Maybe folks just need a push in the right direction and remiding them WWJD 
could help your situation.
