[nagdu] church and dogs

Mary,

My churches have always welcomed my dogs as well. In fact, when I had to put
my last one to sleep members donated to the Seeing Eye in his memory and
also bought hymnals and had a beautiful message printed in the back of them
about his work and faithful guiding. It was really special.

The first time I went to the church which I attend now, I asked them if they

would allow me to bring a guide dog? Not only did I bring one, but my
daughter ended up raising a pup to be a guide when she was a teenager. So,
we brought 2 to church. The church also raised enough money to name a
puppy. Which the kids chose and they chose "Mary". What is ironic about
that is that the dog ended up being a breeder for the school.

Merry
