I agree.  When you owner train there is the "must have" list and the  
"would be nice to have" list.

I sort of had Doberman on my list of breeds that I was interested in  
and I had done quite a bit of reading about the breed, but I didn't go  
into it looking at only Dobes.  I also looked at poodles, Portuguese  
water dogs, Dalmatians and some other breeds.
It might be harder next time around because I really do love Dobes and  
they are perfect for me, my disabilities and for where I live.  I  
wouldn't turn down a Boxer or other short haired taller breed, though.
