[nagdu] guide dogs and bike/tandem?

Hi Iona,
There's a device that you can get to attach your dog to the bike.  It is 
advertized in almost all of the dog magazines. It is a metal part that is 
attached to the bike with a bar that is perpandicular to the bike. At the 
end is a short leash.  this device keeps your dog at a safe distance from 
the bike.

I have never used this - only saw a picture of it in the magazines. I 
imagine that there is an adjustment and training to get the dog used to 
this.
