Ioana,

My better half and I have a side by side recumbent tandem. What I have done
is made a platform that my dog's crate can easily fit on and be strapped
down to. it was really very easy, it offers enough air flow and plenty of
room for him to lay down in along with shade. The parts cost me about a
total of 25 dollars at Ace hardware, it's basically just a few pieces of
flat steel bar stock and a couple of wheel barrel tires, Tarik thinks it's
great and it really was cheap, minus the crate it's self.

I'm not sure if you have a traditional tandem or a side by side, but I'm
sure it would work on either kind, I'd be happy to explain the design if
your interested, pretty easy, all you need is a drill and there's no other
tools required short of a wrench or two,, it's very stable and you'd be hard
pressed to tip it over.

    Bryan
