hello Margo,

Having been through this several months ago, I truly understand what you are 
going through. How exciting to have a class date.

Like you, i retired Bates the day before I left for the Seeing Eye, but I 
felt that was the best decision.  I knew he could no longer work. I also 
placed Bates with some family friends, something I hated to do, but with my 
busy lifestyle, I just can't give two dogs the attention they deserve.

I know you will make the right decision.
