[nagdu] harness signs

Julie,
I'm not one that is generally supportive of harness signs. I kind of
think of it as putting a sign that says "Car" on your car! I am of the
opinion that a person sees an animal in a public place, it is assumed to be
a service animal and should not be petted. I feel the harness is enough sign
for a guide dog. Others who don't have any specific gear may want some
"identifying feature", but it is not required.
This being said, let me suggest a sign! How about "Ask me why you
shouldn't pet a Service Animal"? Now, if it were a pouch, you could have
some "Meeting a Working guide Dog Team" in their and pass them out! Mmm!
Fund Raiser!

Peace!
Marion
